CeramaX Heat Reduction Coating

CeramaX Heat Reduction Coating utilizes ceramic microcells and unique pigments to reflect and refract heat from the sun, protecting against heat buildup in roofing and walls. Its high-build formula, comprising water-resistant polymers and additives, ensures flexibility and durability.

Combined with Sealed Ceramic Microcells, CeramaX effectively reduces heat, making buildings more comfortable and reducing air conditioning costs. These microcells act as microscopic thermos bottles, keeping heat out and creating a long-lasting waterproof layer.

In tests conducted in South Florida, CeramaX demonstrated significant heat reduction, with roof surface temperatures dropping from 155°F to only 95°F, even in similar weather conditions. This remarkable heat reduction, proven through field tests, lab tests, and real-world use, can help keep structures more relaxed without additional insulation.

These are the test results on an Asphalt roof at 2 pm in summer in South Florida at 93-degree air temperature.

Where To Use:

CeramaX has the unique properties to waterproof and helps reduce heat on many roofs, including:

  • Metal Roofs
  • Tile Roofs
  • Bermuda Roofs
  • Shingle Roofs
  • Modified Bitumen + Add new category
  • 90# Roofing Felts
  • Fiberglass 3ply
  • Built-up Roofs
  • Bus Tops
  • Truck & Van Tops
  • Shipping Containers
  • Ice Storage Buildings
  • Cryogenic Containers
  • Stucco Walls
  • Metal Walls
  • Industrial Equipment

…and the list goes on and on. CeramaX will protect almost any substrate that needs to be waterproofed and protected from intense heat buildup from the sun.

It’s Cost-Saving:

As the sun’s intense heat beats down on your roof, discomfort seeps into your living space, driving up your air conditioning costs and reducing your comfort. Meanwhile, the expansion and contraction caused by heat fluctuations lead to wear and tear on your roof’s components, increasing maintenance needs.

CeramaX prevents heat buildup, creating a more comfortable environment and reducing electricity bills. By lowering your roof’s temperature, CeramaX minimizes the strain on its components, potentially cutting cooling costs by up to one-third. With CeramaX, imagine enjoying savings of 30% or more on your cooling expenses.

Longer Roof Life:

CeramaX also helps prevent thermal shock. A hot roof can experience thermal shock when a passing shower of cold rain hits the hot roof, causing a rapid and tremendously violent contraction. These violent contractions can open seams, pop fasteners out of the roof’s substrate, pull flashings out of the embedding plies, and generally destroy your roof. Keeping your roof cool prevents the radical contraction that leads to “ROOF SHOCK,” premature roof failure, and costly replacement costs.

CeramaX keeps your roof more relaxed, thus significantly lessening the shearing that can destroy your roof. The result is… Your roof lasts longer!

  1. Ben Caron

I just want to share with you how I am happy with the Ceramax coating I put on my teardrop camping trailer.

The thing is great after 12,000 km and 1 winter. The plywood warped a bit during the winter which lead to it being looser in some spots but the coating bent and kept it all together and leak-free as it appears.

I am very fond of your products, which for every application I used them on, turned out to be better than expected. I really like the great return on the money spent. It
