Primer (Concentrate)

Our Primer has a simple name, but a powerful function. It's a Deep Penetrating, Surface Conditioning, Adhesive Primer that binds chalk on previously painted surfaces AND, it seals even "HOT" stucco surfaces without long curing delays required by other primer products. It provides great "Hold Out" to keep your paint sitting securely bonded at the surface for maximum life. Our customers tell us that they've never had a blister in their finished coating when they used our unique Primer on a clean and paint ready surface prior to coating. While that kind of performance is truly amazing, there's even more to the story.

Our Primer is a Concentrate. It's designed to be diluted with 3 to even 4 gallons of water per each gallon of Primer Concentrate. For clean, non-chalking surfaces you can dilute it at the rate of 3 gallons of water to each gallon of Primer Concentrate giving you a yield of 4 gallons of sprayable Primer. If the surface is real porous or has moderate chalking, dilute the Primer at the rate of 4 gallons of water to each gallon of Primer Concentrate, thereby yielding 5 gallons of sprayable Primer. The important point is that if you dilute at 4:1, you will then flood coat the surface and let it drink in as much of the diluted Primer as it needs in order to completely condition the surface.

Note: Never dilute the Primer with less than 3 gallons of water! A higher concentration does not make it work better and it will only cost you more money. Here's why:

When viewed microscopically, the molecules of the Primer are seen as little marbles that can easily penetrate into the substrate voids and create an even film. Pigment particles are huge, more like basketballs compared to the very small molecules of the Primer. Pigment particles (which are contained in typical paint primers) do not penetrate and as a matter of fact, they prevent the full, deep penetration you get from our Primer which has no pigment. Primer is clear and as such it can drive deeply to seal and condition the substrate for maximum adhesion.

Primer also gives excellent "Hold Out" which helps your paint flow on evenly. You'll use less paint or coating on a surface that has been conditioned with our Primer!

With our Primer, you get great penetration, great "Hold Out", great Chalk Binding, and you will save money compared to traditional primer products.
